Job Description

Boys Football Coach

We are seeking to appoint Team Managers for the Boys Prep Schools' Football Representative Under 11, Under 12 and Under 13 squads.

The squads are of a high standard having been selected following trials, attending by nearly 800 players, in October and November.

Team Managers will be qualified football coaches (minimum Level 2).

The Managers will be required to attend the Gothia World Youth Cup for a week in July and a 3 day training camp in the Easter holidays.

The Teams will be representing England at the Gothia World Youth Cup in Gothenburg. The trip will be from16th to 23rd July 2022.

The successful candidates will manage a Sports Therapist and work alongside a support team to provide the players with an outstanding experience as they represent England in this prestigious event.

As preparation for the tournament, the successful candidates will be invited to work with and prepare their team at a residential 3 day (2 night) Training Camp at Tonbridge School, Kent.

There will be a choice of dates with Camp 1 taking place from 30th March to 1st April 2022 and Camp 2 from 14th April to 16th April 2022.

At the Camp the players will also have access to a psychologist, attend sessions on nutrition and hydration and work with our sports science team in order to improve their physical performance and reduce the likelihood of injury.

Remuneration

The Team Manager will be paid £400 for the Training Camp and £400 for the trip to Gothia World Youth Cup. Accommodation, food, flights and team kit are provided.

Provide pastoral care to players staying away from home

Liaising with and providing verbal post-match feedback to parents
