The Richmond Kickers Pro Soccer Club, an independent USL League One team located in Richmond, VA, is actively seeking an experienced Director of Corporate Partnerships to accelerate growth amongst all partnership-related revenue streams as well as help curate a first-class matchday experience for all fans and sponsors in attendance. This role will be an integral part of the club’s management team and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Develop and implement a detailed sales strategy to maximize revenue in all partnership-related revenue streams, including stadium signage, event sponsorships, digital/broadcast assets and jersey sponsorships.
Foster relationships with existing clients and persistently prospect new business through cold-calling, face to face meetings, email marketing, networking events and community appearances.
Provide exemplary customer service throughout the entire sales process and to all partners each matchday at City Stadium.
Continually create and implement new ideas and programs that will produce exciting opportunities and value for Richmond businesses, organizations, and community partners.
Design and present sales proposals for potential corporate partners.
Execute all aspects of corporate partnership fulfillment.
Create annual recaps for corporate partners.
Manage sales activity through Zoho CRM. Produce weekly and monthly reports to track progress towards revenue goals.

5+ years of corporate sales and management experience with a proven record of performance that consistently exceeds sales goals and strategic objectives.
High proficiency in relationship building, relationship management and networking skills.
Evidence of being a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute new and unique partnerships.
An excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator with outstanding work ethic, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Google applications and CRM systems. Experience with Zoho applications is a plus.
Prior sports and entertainment industry experience is preferred, but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays.
Bachelor’s Degree required
