Saints Foundation bring Southampton FC to the heart of the community, using the power of the club and our passionate team to help fulfil individual potential and make Southampton a better place to live for all.

What will you be doing?

Firstly, this is not a football coaching position! Think of it as more as a life skills educator, you’re teaching and providing young people with the tools to get into employment.

You’ll be working closely with the Employability and Life Skills Coordinator and be responsible for the planning, delivery, administration and community outreach of the Saints Works project, to support 16 – 24 year olds in Southampton. This includes workshop and sport-based delivery to develop employability, personal, social and life skills. Inspiring and supporting our participants in their progression into further education, training or employment.

You’ll be based at St Mary’s Stadium, in the city centre, just a 20-minute walk from the train station or if you’re a driver there’s free parking, and provided with our Saints Foundation branded uniform supplied by Hummel.

There is also the option for flexible home-working every now and then around delivery hours to ensure you get the balance you need to get the job done.

How this benefits you...

If you are successful, you can look forward to a healthy benefits package;

  • Access to x2 free match tickets for every home league game

  • Access to our staff Health & Wellbeing initiatives (Mental & Physical Health).

  • 25 days’ holiday per year.

  • Contributory Pension Scheme.

  • Incentivised Private Medical Insurance Scheme.

  • Child Care Vouchers.

  • Worldwide Travel Insurance.

  • Free onsite parking.

  • Discounted Southampton Football Club merchandise.

Is this you?

You’re approachable, motivating, and enthusiastic. Confident talking to a group and in one-to-one sessions, and you know how to keep people engaged. You have a great understanding of the barriers young people face today trying to get into work. You pride yourself on your high organisations skills and being a positive influence on others.

How can I apply?

Very easy. Just click on the apply button below, enter your details and answer a quick pre-screening questionnaire, then attach your CV.
