Job Description

Recruiter: The Little Foxes Club

Position: Head Coach (Saturday & Sunday mornings inc.)

Working hours: 30 - 40 hours per week (working on weekends is compulsory for this role)

Working location: You will start and finish your day at our head office based at Park Royal, London, NW10 7PA. The job requires using our fleet of vehicles to travel to various indoor and outdoor coaching locations throughout West, South West and Central London. 

Start Date: As soon as possible.

The role

We have an opportunity for one individual to join our full-time coaching team, who have a wealth of knowledge within sports coaching, teaching, and childcare. You must have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, ensuring we provide nothing but the best.

You will be responsible for delivering sports coaching sessions for children of all age groups, emphasising fun, education, and inclusion for all. You will drive the club coaching programme throughout all locations and be a valuable member in helping us to expand throughout London.

On Saturday and Sunday, you will take on the role of Site Manager, where you will be directly responsible for the overall success of your venue.

Site Management duties include:

  • Managing and motivating a team of coaches.
  • Delegating tasks to ensure the complete setup and pack down of the site.
  • Writing a site report for senior management. 
  • Maintaining health and safety and safeguarding standards. 
  • Liaising with customers to receive feedback, discuss their child's development and promote upcoming events and services
  • Positively promoting the brand at all times.

Daily tasks include:

  • Delivering fun, engaging and educational sports sessions for children aged between 18 months to 14 years
  • Complete operational duties and carry out day-to-day logistics, including driving our fleet of vehicles
  • Be the responsible person at all locations you operate within
  • Maintaining health and safety standards
  • Setting up and packing down sports equipment
  • Support new coaches in their development and progress them to a lead coach status through training
  • Liaise with customers to provide feedback, discuss their child's development and promote upcoming events and services
  • Positively promoting the brand at all times

 

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year experience at leading sports coaching sessions or managing a group of children within an educational environment
  • A minimum level 2 in Football or alternate sport
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity and initiative
  • First aid qualification
  • Full UK driving license
  • Able to work Saturdays and Sundays

 

Desired Requirements:

  • Previous work experience with schools and nurseries
  • Is confident and competent to work with our youngest age groups (children aged from 18 months to 6 years old)
  • Comfortable with delivering multiple sports
  • Qualified within two or more sports
  • Sports degree or equivalent
