San Diego Loyal SC is a USL Championship franchise managed by Landon Donovan. Clinching a playoff spot in just its second season, Loyal SC is looking for an innovative and skilled Graphic Designer who will hit the ground running and help continue to develop its brand identity. With an exceptional staff and supportive ownership, SDLSC is creating a first-class professional sports franchise while also working to elevate "America's Finest City". This position is a member of the marketing team and will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing all creative digital and print assets including, but not limited to, social media, website, digital ads, match presentation, broadcast, marketing/sales collateral, corporate partnership activations, signage and merchandise design. The ideal candidate has their finger-on-the-pulse creatively both online and offline in respect to club, city and sport.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build and develop club's brand assets across all visual platforms.
Proactively generate ideas and communicate them cross-departmentally.
Work collaboratively with all departments under the supervision of Director of Marketing & Communications to ensure all graphics deliverables are met in a timely manner.
Consistently meet deadlines while also delivering quality results in real-time and on-demand.
3-5 years experience preferably for a sports or entertainment entity.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Must be able to work matchdays and events, including nights and weekends.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
After Effects and Premier a big plus.
