Job description

As a HR Executive you will be part of shaping the culture and people strategy by assisting HR Team with HR processes such as: Training, Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and many more. You will be working closely with the HR Manager and HR Business Partner, ensuring the day to day transactional activities of HR administration are completed to the highest standard.

 

This is a fixed term contract for 9 months

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the first point of contact for all HR related queries.
  • Active involvement in the recruitment process, including liaising with hiring managers re job description/person specifications, advertising, shortlisting of candidates, preparing interview questions and seat on interviewing panel
  • Collation of monthly payroll information for Finance team
  • Planning and delivering inductions of new staff
  • Support the review of policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practice and current legislation
  • Collation of weekly/monthly reports as required
  • Organize and maintain personnel records and update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Ensuring best GDPR practice within HR function
  • Assist with ER matters as required
  • Involvement in HR projects including but not limited to: Update of Employee Handbook, Employee Engagement and Health and Wellbeing initiatives
  • Conducting exit interviews
  • Co-ordinate probation review, annual appraisal, and employee survey processes
  • Coordinating mandatory training ensuring staff are compliant at all times
  • Other duties as outlined by the HR Manager

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Third Level Degree in HR or equivalent HR experience
  • CIPD Membership

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • 2/3 years HR experience in a fast moving HR environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
  • An energetic individual who works well under pressure and has a track record of meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment, working independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task is a must
  • Ability to manage data, analyse it, compile and generate reports.
  • Experience across recruitment, performance management and employee relations processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS word, power point and excel.
  • Understanding of football landscape is an advantage
