Job Description

JOB TITLE: CRM Developer
DEPARTMENT: IT
REPORTING TO:  Strategy and Project Manager
JOB FUNCTION:  This role will work alongside and report to the Strategy and Project Manager to configure, support and develop the organisation’s Dynamics 365 environments. Assist in digitising the company’s operational processes fostering closer working between departments. The job holder will deliver projects and changes, liaising with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, then designing and developing solutions under the direction of the Strategy and Project Manager. The job holder will also support existing environments by triaging reported issues and either personally resolving them or assigning them to the relevant group. As part of a small IT team, the job holder will take personal ownership, demonstrate accountability and responsibility and be able to work on a project from end to end. Constantly seeking to improve, the successful candidate will be expected to perform other general roles as appropriate (for instance, emergency cover, assisting with major system roll outs, and so on).
LOCATION: Stamford Bridge with occasional travel to Cobham/Kingsmeadow
CONTRACT: 35 Hours per week across 5 of 7 Days
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
  •  Engage and work closely with internal teams to understand their business requirements and translate into feasible solutions delivered via Dynamics 365 and/or other technology.
  • Work in conjunction with the Strategy and Project Manager, Security Manager and the Business Systems Manager to ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfil end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
  • Engage with all departments to continue building a scalable Dynamics solution that adds value to the business and supports the improvement of business processes through automation and unified technology solutions.
  •  Develop and deliver automated integrations between Dynamics 365 and other business systems both within the Microsoft stack and other systems.
  • Develop, test and document new applications, system integrations and other solutions including supporting existing Dynamics environments..
  • Provide second and third line support for Dynamics 365 and other internal applications, managing, documenting and escalating incidents to the correct resolver groups both internally and externally.
  •  As part of the IT team, perform other general roles as appropriate, (for example, emergency cover, major systems deployments, and so on.)

  •  Development of systems is delivered for use on time.
  •  Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Correct processing of paperwork/orders.
  •  Liaise with suppliers to ensure ‘on time’ delivery.
  • Knowledge of in-house systems & equipment availability.
Experience:
Essential
  • Proven experience of developing technical solutions.
  • Proven experience of working on large-scale projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of eliciting, documenting and delivering on business requirements.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of Dynamics 365 Online platform and configuration, monitoring, maintenance and management of associated technologies.
  • Experience of designing complex security models.
  • Recent experience in integrating Dynamics 365 with Microsoft Teams, PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Azure resources and APIs
  • Excellent knowledge of C#, .Net, SQL and Javascript. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and other front-end languages.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of using appropriate IDEs for development and Azure Dev Ops for version control and team collaboration.
  • Any experience with Dynamics GP would be an advantage.
