Job Description

Be a part of long-term ambitious plan and be ready to step in to put 6th oldest club in England where it belongs. The club will be playing with Adult Men team under Surrey FA county competition (step 9 of English football)

The manager's responsibilities include:

  • Lead development team matches
  • Oversee adult team trainings ad agree on training plans with coaches
  • Agreeing as move from youth teams and to the first team with other managers
  • Adopt to playing strategy
  • Motivating players before and during a match.
  • Man management
  • Leadership in achievement of the sporting strategy
  • Work positively in accordance with our Equal Opportunities Policy
  • Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.

Essential qualifications, skills, and abilities

· FA Coaching qualification Level 1 minimum with some prior experience in coaching

- Ideally SW / W London based - non-UK applications cannot be accepted

· First Aid & Safeguarding Certifications

· FA DBS Certification (if not valid, the club will apply for candidate)

· Effective communication skills

· Leadership qualities

· The ability to manage, oversee and motivate a team of coaches.

· Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about football coaching

Schedule for  2024/25 season:

  • Thu 7:30 - 9:30 pm trainings in Quintin Hogg River Pitches in Chiswick (4G facilities, 100 seaters, floodlights, score board, brand new facilities)
  • Saturday matches in Barn Elms Sport Centre where is the main clubhouse building in Barnes

This is volunteer role. The club will provide coaching kits, equipment and benefits such as deals / vouchers from sponsors.
