Job Description

Job Summary:  
The Senior Creative Manager leads and directs graphic design efforts for advertising, websites, brochures, newsletters, signage, email, social media, educational materials and electronic communications. Support and establish design direction for new merchandise production. This role develops and implements design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results, as well as participates in the development of marketing campaigns and projects to accomplish the goals and objectives of each department. The Senior Creative Manager manages staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, while ensuring that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Lead design projects from ideation to execution, ensuring project delivery dates and expectations are met within pre-established budgets.
  •  Ensure a consistent, premium brand visual identity; both internally and externally, including marketing collateral and publications, branded items, event presence/signage, advertisements, etc.
  •  Establish an efficient team delegation and project management. While fostering a fun, supportive, collaborative environment to bring out the best work from your team.
  •   Successfully communicate concepts to a broad range of audiences, ranging from strategy and experience concepts to detailed design systems and assets.
  •  Maintain and implement project management processes and methodologies.
  • Manage all team and company-related photography needs including match day, special events, media day and other photography as needed. This includes developing and managing freelance photographers & graphic designer relationships, media day, and campaigns executions. 
  • Provide day-to-day management of the Design team, including financial planning, operations, and individual career growth.
  • Maintain photography archive by preparing, sharing and organizing in a sensible timeline. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external organizations and departments on year-round projects and day-to-day requests.
  • Budget and Manage design freelancers and photographers.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year)      
    • Area of Study: Graphic Design, Visual Design, Marketing or closely related field  
  • Years of related work experience: 4+
  • Experience using artistic talent and skills to create original conceptual approaches to satisfy design needs.
  • Skills to creative concepts and designs that meet expectations, timeline and budget
  • Experience designing print and digital deliverable
  • Working knowledge of the following software programs: Adobe Acrobat, Encore, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, iPhoto, Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organizational skills to prioritize competing short-term and long-term project deadlines
  • Experience working with internal teams to support business objectives, providing intelligence and advice.
  • Ability to take initiative to develop and execute plans with limited oversight and some ambiguity.
  • Superior judgement, emotional intelligence, and cultural competence.
  • Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays
  • Working in a fast paced environment with turn around.
