Supporter Services Advisor & Disability Liaison Officer

Location: St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton

Hours: Full Time (08:30-1700) Core hours 1000-1600, flexible on start and finish times if required

Contract Type: Permanent

Hybrid Working Option: Yes (40% home working)

 

 

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working in the Supporter Services Team, a dedicated team of 4, and be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of services to supporters, ensuring service levels are met and procedures are accurately followed. Providing the highest level of customer service to improve the fan experience and to support the commercial business activities. You’ll be the main point of contact between Southampton Football Club, its disabled customers, supporters, and staff and ensure that their access requirements are met.

The Disability Liaison Officer role is a very unique role within football; we will ensure that you receive the relevant training to enhance your knowledge and understanding of how you can best assist our disabled supporters.

You’ll be based at St Mary’s Stadium, in the city centre, just a 20-minute walk from the train station or if you’re a driver there’s free parking! Your desk will be located within the buzz of the Commercial department, just down the corridor from our Bistro where you can start your day right with free breakfast, tea and coffee, and then in the afternoon enjoy our very much loved daily 3pm snack surprise!

On occasion for non-match days, there is also the option for flexible home-working to ensure you get the balance you need to get the job done.

 

 

Is this you?

You call yourself a ‘people person’. You’re excellent at communicating with everyone, you love to help others, thrive in working in a team, and love to problem solve to help those with enquiries. You have worked in a similar customer facing role and understand the requirements of working with/meeting the needs of disabled customers. Plus, your IT skills are more than efficient and you’re able to work match days.
