Further to some internal progression within our team, Leicester City Football Club have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our successful and highly regarded team. Accordingly, the key objective for the HR Business Partner is to build influential relationships with management teams across the organisation to drive this agenda and support our further growth.
In this generalist role, you’ll create and review people strategies for key departments, supporting management teams to maximise performance and drive engagement in their teams. We’re looking for an engaging partner to connect with various stakeholders across the Club to make an impact across broad HR areas such as ER, Recruitment, Engagement. Moreover, as an integral member of our team, we’re looking for somebody whose ability to connect and listen to our colleagues ensures they make a decisive contribution to the on-going development of our Policies and Processes and HR Systems.
Who We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will have a range of generalist experience and be now looking to extend their career into a business partnering role. We’re looking for somebody who can build influential relationships in a multi-site organisation and be comfortable partnering a varied range of job roles and departments.
The broad range of tasks in this generalist role should excite you; our teams are made up of employees, casual workers and consultants so you’ll have experience in navigating the complexities of varying contract types. You’ll be a confident recruiter focussed on providing an excellent candidate experience yet equally thorough and diligent in providing management support with ER cases.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for how to continuously improve HR services and processes; as an advantage, the successful candidate will have prior experience of MHR’s iTrent system and be able to evidence where they have utilised technology to deliver an enhanced employee experience.
Your can-do attitude, as well as your honesty and integrity, means you’ll become a trusted coach and advisor across the business who is willing and able to challenge as well as provide generalist support. We’re looking for somebody who is passionate to drive our team forward – somebody who thinks critically about the way we do things but is also strongly solution focussed and pragmatic to get the job done.
About The Club
Knowing some of the history of Leicester City Football Club helps you appreciate the sense of community, spirit and family for which the Foxes are renowned for.
Formed in 1884, the Club has been in the Premier League since 2014 when the Foxes were promoted as Championship winners. In 2016, Leicester City became Premier League champions. This remarkable achievement qualified them for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the Club’s history, and the Foxes went on to reach the quarter finals of the competition. The Club continues to build on that success, and celebrated lifting the prestigious FA Cup in May 2021.
