Job Description

Barnes Football Club was founded in 1862 and is the 6th oldest club in England. New management committee is now re-establishing the club and intends to involve local passionate football fans and enthusiasts to support their initiative. Our mission is to develop and promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing affordable activities that improve health and social welfare and to provide more social inclusive community that will engage all members regardless of ability or disability, race, religion, gender, age or sexual orientation.

What are requirements for the role?

  • Preferred SW13 based or surrounding areas (Richmond, Wandsworth, Hammersmith&Fulham boroughs)
  • Previous experience with marketing roles, with focus on digital marketing
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Remote and flexible working

What are the  main responsibilities?

  • Organize social events
  • Deliver the company’s social media channel content
  • Execute an email marketing plan and execute marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with sponsors for the social media content
  • Monitor Google Analytics to measure success and find areas of improvement
  • Support the planning and maintenance of company websites, with the latest news and insights ensuring content remains fresh
  • Work alongside other team members to support in other areas of the organisation as and when required to promote best practice.

The role is volunteer based with average 8-10 hours per week,  however we offer a range of benefits from our sponsors and great access to the sport network.
