Job Description

Purpose: 

We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Internal Communications Executive to join us, playing an important role in keeping our people across the world connected. We’re looking for someone to capture, create and share the stories that are at the heart of our organisation.

Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:

  1. To co-ordinate and manage the internal communications plan for City Football Group, with overall responsibility for the editorial calendar
  2.  To plan, create, edit, design and write content for documents and channels, ensuring our people get the right information when they need it in creative, compelling ways
  3. To support on the development and ongoing maintenance of new channels
  4. To plan and deliver face-to-face and online employee events
  5. To contribute to measuring success and monthly reporting

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

Essential 

  • Strong written communication skills. A good foundation in basics like grammar is important
  • The ability to create easy-to-read and enjoyable stories, news articles and ghost blogs. This may include seeing the underlying message and finding a way to produce a story that is consumable by the internal audience
  • Comfortable being in front of the camera, presenting and hosting video content
  • Have an adaptable approach to learning and ability to pick things up quickly – such as how to use our internal communication tools
  • Someone who is creative and enthusiastic with energy and commitment, who would thrive in a dynamic, complex, international environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task where required
  • An eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external parties by phone, email and face to face

Desirable 

  • Experience with Adobe products e. g; Photoshop, Rush, Audition – to enable use to edit content within the Communications team
