Football Services Assistant

Salary: £18,000
Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)

The Amateur Football Alliance was formed in 1907 and is unique among County FAs in not being based around a particular geographical area, although most of our clubs are in London and the Home Counties. We provide and support football wholly outside the football pyramid for those who play for the joy of playing, for to build lasting friendships and play in clubs who are inclusive of all ability levels. We work in alliance with many clubs and competitions to protect and preserve the original amateur spirit, whilst priding ourselves on the skill and competitiveness of our leagues and on our traditions of fair play and respect for opponents and match officials.

Overview of the role: To support the delivery of all aspects of the Amateur FA’s discipline processes within the county in line with The FA Rules and Regulations and sanctioning guidelines and to administer Amateur FA’s County Cup competitions.

What you’ll be doing: You will be working in the Football Services team, assisting in investigating disciplinary cases, supporting clubs and leagues with the administrative functions of football affiliation, administering our county cup competitions, working with partners to implement new IT initiatives aimed at improving the grassroots football experience and contribute to ensuring that safeguarding and equality are embedded throughout the Amateur FA and grassroots football.
