Job Description

As part of our growth strategy, we’re looking to recruit a Business Development Executive.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Head of Commercial and Marketing, the Business Development Executive will have strong sales, organisational and customer relationship skills.

The candidate will also assist in maximising income and controlling overheads to achieve financial targets.

  • Identify and approach new business leads both over the phone and face to face
  • Confident cold-caller with the skills to reach decision makers
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation
  • Responsible for the delivery of stretching financial targets for sales and corporate
  • Assist Head of Commercial with appointment setting
  • Assist Head of Commercial with the fulfilment of partner rights as and when required including matchday activation
  • Selling of hospitality-based sponsorship opportunities, hospitality, social media and stadium assets
  • Development of bespoke sponsorship and advertising proposals to suit the needs of individual companies
  • Be motivated to be successful, both as an individual and as part of a team
  • Flexible, target driven with a proven sales ability and proactive approach
  • Willingness to work matchdays and events
  • Any other duties as required by management
