Job Description

Purpose:
      
The main purpose of the role is to drive incremental and relevant traffic into the Venue Ticketing e-commerce funnel, through pay per click and paid social channels.  This is a specialist performance marketing role to optimise PPC and Social Media accounts to increase impression share, click-throughs, and quality score whilst reducing cost of sale.

The Role:

  • To meet agreed KPIs including revenue and ROAS targets.
  • To work closely with the Venue HOs, ticketing product owners and SMEs to improve the digital fan journey and conversion rate for PPC and paid social.
  • To create and implement a rigorous testing strategy across all appropriate areas within the accounts.
  • Continuously look for ways to automate, optimise and improve efficiency across the accounts.
  • To work with the media team to ensure consistency of approach and alignment of campaigns across the group.
  • To deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key metrics and KPIs, recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify key opportunities.
  • To monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • To work alongside SeatGeek tech teams to ensure the correct tagging and conversion tracking is implemented.
  • To identify opportunities across all paid media to drive revenue growth.


The Person:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience, leading, planning and delivery of digital paid media campaigns and continuous optimisation of performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital paid media channels, media buying and compelling growth techniques with a target driven approach.
  • A strong understanding of tools and techniques used in marketing and audience planning.
  • Excellent understanding of paid media, social and video for growing and engaging digital audiences.
  • Ability to lead and analyse performance, using data, insights, and analytics to identify opportunities and anticipate any issues that lead to lack of performance.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media platforms, analytics and AI tools.
  • Strong understanding of attribution modelling across the full marketing funnel.
  • Excellent budgetary skills,  demonstrating efficiency of spend and effectiveness.
  • Ability to write a strong creative brief and effectively critique creative output.
  • First class project management skills and ability to lead campaigns.
  • Experience working with content / editorial, CRM, SEO and Analytics teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across a fast moving, multi-faceted organisation.
  • Expertise in performance monitoring / tracking and budget management.
  • An innovative thinker who is able to work flexibly and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Experience of the Sport industry - desirable
