Job Description

JOB TITLE: Senior Content Editor 
REPORTING TO: Creative Content Lead
JOB FUNCTION: To drive the CFC creative editing team producing high-quality original and existing content approaches.
DIRECT REPORTS: Creative Editor / Social Creative Editor
LOCATION: Stamford Bridge
CONTRACT: 10am-6pm five days per week (some weekends). Permanent. 
•       Lead edit production, creative quality and innovation across all CTV projects.
•       Oversee workflow allocation and expectations across edit department.
•       Create and amplify highly engaging content designed for all club native and social platforms.
•       Understanding of what styles perform strongly across all individual club platforms.
•       Work closely with our Creative and Marketing departments to consider our brand style in our production.
•       Participate strongly in creative development meetings and presentations.
•       Regular proposal of new styles and trends to consider in our creative editing.
•       To be able to work across multiple projects at the same time and under occasional time pressures.
•       Lead edit producer on highest-level club video projects.
•       Attend, or participate to internal and external content briefing to consider edit style in pre-production.
•       Excellent attention to detail. 
•       Keen interest in football / sports. 
•       Minimum five years’ experience.
•       Consistently strong approach to creative briefs
•       Management of edit teams’ quality and values.
•       Meeting all deadlines with an organised and well-structured workflow
•       Professional approach to stakeholder management and communication.
•       Regular production of innovative and exciting edit approaches.
•       Extensive knowledge of Premiere Pro. 
•       Additional knowledge of motion gfx software (Adobe After Effects, Photoshop) would be an advantage. 
•       Extremely high-level examples of previous work. 
•       Minimum five years’ experience. 
•       Successful “Best in class” edit-producer content examples. 
•       Experience of working within a brand strategy identity advantageous.
