Indy Eleven internships are available for course credit only. Interns are provided a paid monthly parking stipend but are otherwise unpaid. Positions are less than 30 hours per week but will depend on the number of hours needed to complete course credit. Work schedules will be set at the beginning of the internship.
Corporate Partnerships Internship
Indy Eleven is seeking an experienced and organized individual for its Business Development Community Resource Intern within the growing professional soccer team’s front office. This position will report directly to the Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships and other Department Heads when pertinent.
Primary responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Administration of new and renewed revenue through the sale of Corporate Partnerships and Suite Sales including stadium signage, advertising, promotional elements, and Ticket Packages
Prospecting new areas and businesses to target for Partnerships & Suite Sales
Creating professional proposals that meet the needs of potential prospects
Developing contract summaries/contracts for execution of Partnerships
Selling of the team’s Premium Seating areas, including Suites and Premier Level seating
Managing and executing hospitality areas for the benefit of servicing clients in Suites and Premier Level seating areas
Develop and manage relationships in Soccer, Hispanic, and Corporate communities that will Suite and Partnership sales
Assist with fulfillment for Partnerships and Suites on game day/events
Schedule to answer phones at Indy Eleven front Desk
Assist in Marketing and Community Relations Functions and appearances
Qualifications for the position include:
Experience in sales and sports preferred
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for soccer preferred
Ability with season ticket database
Knowledge of Central Indiana and its soccer community
Able to work with management and a diverse team of people
