The Compensation Partner will support executing our pay philosophy and introduce reward practices that attract and retain critical talent.   • Help define and implement a fair and consistent compensation philosophy and a competitive reward framework that are aligned with business objectives, and our workplace culture.
  • Manage the benchmarking of all job roles throughout the business in collaboration with the people partners and business, and create a total reward framework alongside this.
  • Perform day-to-day compensation related operations, including ad-hoc benchmarking, job evaluations and pricing; working with people partners and others to support the management in the resolution of reward queries and issues.
  • Manage reward programmes providing analytical support in bi-annual performance and pay review cycle, quarterly sales incentives, and other variable incentive schemes, advising people partners and line managers.
  • Develop and deliver training and communications for line managers.
  • Make sure our pay practices are current, compliant and fair (pay equity, human rights, etc).
  • Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports.
  • Use internal and external surveys and quantitative data to maintain visibility of market trends and measure the success and attractiveness of our compensation programs.
  • Work closely with and support the Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) by providing analysis and assist the development of a consistent job levelling framework, establishing job families, career levels and salary ranges and supporting the launch and ongoing communication to all stakeholders (HR, line managers, employees).
  • Support the CPCO in the administration, reporting, and coordination of the EPSP equity share programme.
  • Conduct a benefits benchmarking for our international entities providing market analysis for decision support.
  • Devise a plan and proactively source and manage innovative and flexible employee discount schemes and perks with regional reach and relevance.


  • You have a knack for numbers, systems, structures, and data and are a self-starter that works independently.
  • You have experience working in Reward across a range of compensation and benefits in a fast-growing, international business environment; digital technology or media industry experience is a plus.
  • You have strong working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis frameworks.
  • You are familiar with current labour rules and regulations (e.g. pay equity analysis, equal pay).
  • You have hands-on experience with HRIS or payroll software, MS Office and advanced level MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to effectively analyse and present large amounts of data in a logical, concise manner.
  • Solid project management skills (organization, planning, and time management).
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities, frequently working against deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • You are discreet and know how to work with sensitive and confidential information.
  • You have a background in HR or finance/accounting or in a relevant field.
  • English language skills, written and spoken.
