JOB TITLE: Product Marketing Lead (Perfect Play)
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTING TO: Head of Digital & Performance Marketing
JOB FUNCTION: We are looking for an industry-leading Product Marketer to design and implement an ambitious new strategy for audience growth in the youth-market. The Product Marketing Lead will run all aspects of the product and will assume full product design, production and publishing responsibility, and be instrumental in driving its commercial success
LOCATION: Stamford Bridge, London
CONTRACT: Fixed Term - 1 Year
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Play Your Part):
•       The creation, launch and success of Perfect Play social media accounts, developing a large and engaged youth audience centred on world leading football training content
•       Develop and oversee the execution of the Content Marketing Strategy, on both Perfect Play and club channels, overseeing publishing plans on Perfect Play channels
•       Responsible for the team publishing across all social media channels, focused on a youth audience including TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube
•       Identify key audiences for growth, developing content that appeals and ensures engagement with them 
•       Identification of social media trends, quick to capture and implement opportunities 
•       Ensure the product vision and delivery is in-line with the Academy’s ethos and approach
•       Develop a community to be warmed into a base which can be monetised both through direct sales and partnerships
•       Work with production teams to integrate the Perfect Play brand and content organically into club platforms, proactively identifying opportunity for integration
•       Manage a content roadmap making recommendations for new content strands, features and optimisations
•       Define and communicate promotional and channel plans for regular content streams across club and Perfect Play channels
•       Use data to feedback insights into key stakeholders, and then suggest and articulate re-prioritisation of content outputs accordingly

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION:
 
Experience:
 
•       Minimum five years relevant social media experience, preferably working for a global brand
•       Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat & YouTube
•       A natural storyteller with exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as editorial judgement
•       Able to demonstrate a passion, curiosity and fluency in digital and social media
•       A keen interest in cultural trends and an eye for what’s coming next
•       Track record of increasing reach and engagement through own ideas and individual management of social accounts
•       Familiarity with social analytics, monitoring and publishing software
•       Experience using video editing software
