Background: Orlando City Soccer Club is Major League Soccer’s newest expansion club beginning play in 2015 and has finalized plans to build a new soccer-specific stadium in downtown Orlando. The Orlando City SC organization consists of a professional team, a PDL team (Under-23) and a comprehensive youth development program (boys/girls).
Orlando City SC’s long-term aspiration is to become one of the preeminent sporting organizations in the world.
Position Summary: As the Graphic Designer for Orlando City SC, you are the main person responsible for all marketing collateral for the Club. You will also act as a production manager, working with vendors to ensure we get the most economical, high-quality product. This includes:
Ticket collateral (single tickets, season tickets, season ticket holder books)
Advertising material (print, out-of-home)
Interactive design (website design, Facebook images, Facebook tab design) for youth and MLS properties
Corporate sales fulfillment (when necessary)
Corporate sales collateral
Overall look of branded signage at the stadium (JumboTron, LEDs, banners, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in graphic design.
Exceptional creative abilities; looking to push the envelope and develop and implement fresh ideas.
Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere
