Job Overview: The Hartford Athletic Account Executive position requires someone who enjoys the sales and service process with an ability to not only sell the full plate of tickets, but be able to sell community platform initiatives and integrated programming such as youth league, clinics, virtual experiences and more.
Responsibilities for this position include the following, but not limited to:
Actively sell Season Ticket Memberships, Flex Plans, Group Packages, VIP Suites and Business Alliance Memberships through cold calls, emails, social selling, and networking events
Develop an organized database of potential prospects through self prospecting, in-bound leads and leads from the Marketing Department
Achieve and exceed sales, and prospecting goals set by upper management
Provide exceptional customer service for our fans, Season Ticket Members, Flex Plan Members, Group Contacts and future clients
Attend all scheduled Hartford Athletic Games and events, serving as a key member to the team on a daily basis inside and outside of the Front Office
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned
Sales experience within professional or collegiate sports is preferred
Knowledge, and experience of any CRM system and Tickets.com a plus
Experience and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent time management, written and verbal skills is required
Enjoys a fast paced, team-oriented setting
Ability to work extended hours including weekends, nights and holidays
