Job Description


Manchester City is currently looking to recruit two Digital Campaign Graphic Designers who will be responsible for creating, building and executing digital campaign assets for mobile and website, digital products and social media story-telling. Working across a diverse range of products, we are looking for someone with a creative flair.

This role involves working with a diverse stakeholder group on a variety of projects so we’ll want to see evidence that you have good communication skill and are comfortable with deadline management and working to (at times) tight and conflicting timeframe

Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:

Working as part of our fast-growing Marketing team alongside the content team, the key responsibilities of this role will include:

  1. Creating bespoke and premium still image assets for digital channels, including imagery for paid social campaigns, display assets and mobile app campaigns.
  2. Creating digital display assets across all devices and having knowledge of dynamic creative tools.
  3. Being competent in graphic/video animation for social channels with ability to create bespoke assets for digital channels
  4.  Turnaround quick video edits (including text on screen) for multiple channels
  5. Creation of animated creative for landscape LED screens
  6. Working collaboratively across marketing, content and brand to stretch ideas, achieve efficiencies and constantly raise creative standards
  7.  Managing multiple, demanding, creative projects and briefs with the ability to design and execute them across different formats – from mobile to app, to desktop to TikTok outputs
  8. Experience of working with creative briefs to deliver compelling, campaign creative
  9. Ensuring quality of creative output and adhering to creative guidelines whilst meeting brief deadlines.
  10. Attending status meetings and keeping all stakeholders up-to-date on project progress and building strong stakeholder relationships.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 



  • Proven Graphic Design & Motion Graphics Experience (3-5 years’ experience)
  • Talent for identifying what catches the eye, and how to play with and manipulate digital content for the consumer
  • Ability to work with Adobe suite of programs including Photoshop and Illustrator, in addition to knowledge and experience of animation graphics working with tools such as After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is also required
  • Strong Communicator
  • Strong portfolio to showcase
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines


  • Degree in Graphics Design or a related field
  • An interest and enthusiasm for sport with a good understanding and knowledge of football
