The Partnerships Analyst will research and discover new prospects for the Partnership Sales Team to pursue by identifying and creating individual company profiles, performing category analysis, and tracking industry trends. They will also analyze third-party research to create category and brand level data stories to better position NYCFC to prospective partners. In addition, they will create customized proposals and recaps for partners that align with the company’s specific standards for success. Internally, they will develop and sustain a process to track ROI and COS throughout each deal, identify key open inventory and categories, and research new asset and inventory trends including valuations and competitive pricing. They will also be the Partnership Team’s main point of contact for Salesforce and KORE training and enablement. A strong understanding of brand and agency practices will be key to executing effectively in this role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Deep understanding of partnership activation, sponsorship, and sports/entertainment partnership marketing best practices
Previous experience building sponsorship proposals and/or year-end recaps
Working knowledge of Salesforce and KORE sponsorship module preferred
Proficiency in digital and social strategies for brands, especially in the sponsorship space
Advanced Excel skills
Be able to work collaboratively, both in a team setting and cross-departmentally
Ability to prioritize assignments based on timelines and business objectives
Thrive in a fast-paced, open environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) from an accredited four-year college or university
At least 2-4 years of experience in partnership or brand analytics, sales, or marketing
Brand or agency experienced strongly preferred
Sports industry knowledge is a plus, but not required
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Ability to travel for business purposes
Must be able to work games scheduled which may be at night and on weekends and holidays
