Job Summary


Tottenham Hotspur is a world famous football club based in North London. Off the pitch, the Club has a strong and successful business model centred around building a platform for long-term success, which includes a new world-class stadium and Training Centre. 

The Club operates out of multiple sites, including Lilywhite House next to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and its warehouse facility in Enfield, where its retail operation is based.

The Club is seeking a Licensing Executive to support to the Brand Licensing Manager in the management and growth of the global licensing programme. The person will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the programme, supporting with royalty reporting, product development and marketing activities. Tasks will include: exploring new licensing opportunities, managing licensee status sheets; assisting with contract paperwork; producing brand presentations; and being the go-to person for the day to day licensing enquiries.

Regular working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5.30 but occasional national travel and attending UK trade shows may be required.

Key Responsibilities


  • Researching and developing new licensing opportunities 
  • First port of contact for all Tottenham Hotspur licensing enquiries
  • Onboarding new licensees and setting up their accounts on our systems
  • Managing licensed contracts workflow
  • Support Buying team in specified licensee’s product development/approval issues
  • Ensuring all licensee’s ethical and manufacturing information on file
  • Tracking royalty information from licensees and chasing outstanding reports
  • Become Club ‘expert’ on new licensing/approval system – Brand Comply
  • Sending out style guides and player imagery to licensees as required
  • Responsible for organising sample storage and archiving licensed products
  • Assisting in creation /updating of pitch documents and presentations
  • Conduct regular competitor and market research
  • Managing all initial licensee and agent issues
  • Handling internal Club requests for licensing information

Skills & Experience


  • At least 2-3 years prior knowledge and experience of licensing, retail and/or product in a commercial or brand function is essential.
  • General commercial understanding of licensing/retail/brand environments.
  • Understanding of product development life cycle is preferable.
  • An appreciation for sport is desirable
