ABOUT THE MEMBER SERVICES ASSOCIATE ROLE:
Member Services Associates are directly responsible for maintaining & growing strong year-round relationships with Republic FC Members. Our Members are the heartbeat and foundation of our club and this role is tasked with overseeing an assigned account base of Full and Half Season Members – serving as the ‘go-to’ contact for all things Sacramento Republic related. Associates will service, sell, and grow their book of business while delivering excellent communication regarding events, programs, and benefits to the Club’s Members. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish & build strong working relationships with Indomitable Full & Half Season Members through active communication, including seat visits, phone calls, emails, and other relevant communication channels.
  • Present oneself as THE go-to-person for assigned account base while improving year over year fan experience.
  • Meet and exceed all retention and associated revenue goals with assigned account base.
  • Sell and service a full menu of ticket products for Sacramento Republic FC, including, but not limited to: Season Memberships, Partial Season Memberships, Group Outings, and Customized Hospitality.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and effectively communicate all team happenings, events, plan holder benefits relevant to assigned account base.
  • Proactively respond and resolve customer complaints, requests, and inquiries from assigned account base; handle difficult fans and situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Ensure Member information and data are accurate and complete for assigned accounts.
  • Assist in developing and delivering customized programs, events, and benefits to drive loyalty within assigned account base.
  • Work closely with Ticket Sales, Ticket Operations, Marketing, Community Relations, Soccer Operations, Stadium Staff, Game Operations, PR, and Sponsorship to execute integrated programs.
  • Deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience for new Members when transitioned from the sales team – aiming to turn new customers into fans for life. 
  • Assist in arranging special events for the department. Includes mailing invitations, tracking RSVP’s, as well as organizing event set up.
  • Represent Sacramento Republic FC at all home games and various events to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral. 
  • Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day.
  • Highly motivated and an ambition to build a long-term career in the sports business.
  • Passion for delivering world-class customer service and creating ‘wow’ moments for clients 
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
