Job Description

Club Overview:
FC Tucson was founded in 2010 by a local group of dedicated Tucsonans who wanted to elevate the sport and bring professional soccer to the City of Tucson. Since that time, FC Tucson has been responsible for helping to put Tucson on the national stage by hosting the annual MLS pre-season training events as well as developing America’s top Players who have gone on to become MLS and US Men’s National Team Members. Position Overview:
The Ticket Sales Intern will work closely with the ticket sales department to help coordinate ticket operations and ticket sales initiatives. Primary focus will be on customer service, sales lead generation and game day fan interaction.  Position will be under the direction of the VP of Sales, Ticket Operations Manager and Account Executive. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work event days and serve as a point of contact for ticket related questions and box office inquiries
  • Answer incoming calls from the general public for ticket related questions and box office inquiries
  • Coordinate with Sales department for all ticketing, fulfillment and service needs for ticket holders
  • Service internal requests such as ticket purchases, ticket reprints, and Will-Call
  • Support Sales and Service staff with order processing, payments, and ticket mailing
  • Assist window sellers and ticket kiosk at Kino North Stadium when necessary
  • Manage and implement all gifts and promotions related to ticket customers, clients, and season ticket holders 
  • Support sales efforts through outbound touchpoints for new prospecting and sales lead generation 
  • Other duties as assigned

Essential Skills, Experience & Requirements:  
  • Receiving course credit from internship
  • Pursuing bachelors degree with degree in business administration, sports management, communications, etc
  • Preferred work experience within sales or customer service positions
  • Possess excellent customer service, organization, and computer skills 
  • Must have strong initiative and work ethic and be able to function without supervision
  • Work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
  • Able to work varying schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
