Position Overview:  
The digital content creator is well versed in digital and social media platforms and will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s digital marketing and social media efforts strategy. They will be laser-focused on telling stories that matter most to customers, fans and the community at large. Additionally, this person utilizes data to formulate digital marketing strategies, continually monitors and analyzes program effectiveness and modifies strategic direction as necessary to obtain high impact results. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Builds a content strategy as a multi-channel campaign that meets predefined goals.
  • Build ecommerce digital marketing success story (positive ROI) utilizing each of the following disciplines: content marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization.
  • Designs social media campaigns to reach and activate a pre-defined audience.
  • Custom white-hat link building strategies.
  • Prepares and coordinates public relations work for digital platforms.
  • Prepare content strategies for our website, blog, and other channels to meet the goals of multiple digital marketing disciplines.
  • Understands omni-channel marketing best practices and procedures including content marketing, SEO, SEM, display, PR, email, OOH, internal assets, and social media.
  • Adhere to publish deadlines and own the campaign deployment calendar including multi-channel digital and OOH initiatives. 
  • Conduct outreach to promote content among top domains and social influencers.
  • Generate copy in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ensure written content meets and adheres to overall brand guidelines and project strategies.
  • Works with a team to develop and execute holistic digital marketing efforts.
  • Oversees analytics projects and data processes including fan data warehouse.
  • Develop metrics to measure performance of implemented initiatives and ROI.
  • Maintains a strong understanding of the latest technologies and digital trends/best practices, promotions, grassroots, accounting, and public relations for events.
  • Help build, manage, and update venue social media strategy including paid, non-paid, and influencers for day-of-show, upcoming events, and special campaigns.
  • Works with Associate Brand Designer to update and continually improve website and team app.
  • Attend community and promotional events as a representative of our brands as needed.

Essential Skills, Experience & Abilities:  
  • Knowledge of soccer or the entertainment industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, editing, marketing, public relations, or similar advertising position(s).
  • Proven track record in delivering strategic recommendations based on data insights.
  • Excellent editing skills used to review your own and others’ work for spelling and grammatical errors, word choice, organization, and formatting issues.
  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret online (i.e. HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  • Familiarity with SEO-driven keyword research.
  • Stays up-to-date on the latest digital marketing offerings and trends impacting your position.
  • Self-starter who understands the importance of being responsible to yourself and our team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong marketing mind with the ability to communicate value to the intended audience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with ability to adjust voice and style to the type of content being created.
  • Desire to keep learning and growing as a writer/marketer.
  • Ability to manage multiple content development and promotion initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to review information and data, then turn your learnings into actionable, compelling, and engaging content.
