NZ Football is seeking a Referee Development Manager to work in partnership with key stakeholders to develop capability and effectiveness of the referee pathway and development system.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Working in close partnership with key stakeholders in federations, clubs and schools to deliver programmes in their regions.
  • Leading and supporting a regional network of federation referee development officers
  • Development of digital educational resources for referees
  • Overseeing appointments of senior match officials for National Competitions
  • Development programmes for high performing referees

 

Skills & Experience

 

To be successful in this role you’ll need experience in the area of match official development, not necessarily in football but preferably with international experience. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate competencies in:

  • Sport development with an understanding of international trends and research
  • Leading projects
  • Writing and developing learning resources
  • Excellent stakeholder management
