Job Description

LCFC Women are looking to recruit a First Team Analyst to work with the Club's senior players and assist throughout the player pathway which may also involve working with Under-18s players.

About the role

The role will provide players and staff with in-depth statistical training and matchday analysis, including pre-match opposition analysis, post-match analysis, training analysis and individual player analysis.


Main duties 

The successful applicant will also be required to film and edit all first team sessions as required by the LCFC Women Manager, including home and away matches, training and individual practice, reviewing footage and accurately code all necessary events.

The role will be required to present detailed and informed analysis of forthcoming opposition to coaches and management, produce a variety of resources specific to forthcoming opposition, and manage systems for providing coaching staff with in-game and immediate post-match tactical analysis.


Who we’re looking for

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working on:

  • In-depth statistical training and matchday analysis – including pre-match opposition analysis, post-match analysis, training analysis and individual player analysis.
  • Co-ordinating the storage and maintenance of all data, software and equipment related to performance analysis.
  • Reviewing opposition video and scout opposition players and able to produce the necessary reports/presentations on these areas.

The ideal candidate will also have the following skills and knowledge:

  • Understanding of learning and developing high performance with a proven ability to create optimum learning environments for players.
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
  • A practical, flexible and innovative approach to work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with players, staff and senior management, a good communicator at all levels.
  • Dedicated to self-improvement and personal development.



  • Performance Analysis Degree.
  • FA Coaching badges and other proven understanding of football tactics and coaching.
  • Experience using Performance Analysis software and of working with statistical data.
  • Holds an in date FA Safeguarding Children Certificate or is willing to complete the FA Safeguarding Children Course within 3 months.
  • Holds an in date FA First Aid Certificate or is willing to complete the FA First Aid Course within three months.
  • Ability to create and present reports in Powerpoint/Keynote.
  • Full UK Driving License.



  • Masters in Performance Analysis.
  • Experience of working as a Performance Analyst within an elite Women’s football environment.
