Job Description

Title: Video Production Manager 
Department: Communications 
Reports to: Director of Video Production 
FLSA: Full-Time, Exempt 

Position Summary: 
The Video Production Manager is an integral part of the Communications team. This person is responsible for everyday conceptualization and creation of video content for Orlando City Soccer Club with exceptional attention to detail, passion, and innovation. This position will be heavily relied upon to conceptualize, shoot, and edit video content daily. The Video Production Manager will be responsible for putting each project together, ensuring each project is delivered on schedule, meets all quality standards, and exceeds viewer expectations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Manage and lead various production projects for Orlando City Soccer Club including but not limited to Orlando City and Orlando Pride games.
  • Assist in the development of strategic creative solutions that result in stakeholder satisfaction. 
  • Conceptualize, create, and capture compelling club content ranging from behind-the-scenes access to 1-on-1 player features. 
  • Work closely with entire communications team.
  • Lead and inspire communications team through management, planning and development of creative videos.
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks and deliverables for the communications team.
  • Serve as the point of contact when communicating and working cross departmentally.
  • Review video work, troubleshoot and provide direct feedback to communications team.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency across all projects aligns with brand standards.
  • Provide creative input throughout the pre-production and post-production planning process.
  • Meet and manage deadlines while ensuring the highest quality output. 
  • Archive projects and maintain the organization of the archive.
  • Maintain all edit and shoot equipment, troubleshoot problems, and help expedite repairs.
  • Live production of broadcast elements while on the road with the team. 
  • Occasional local and domestic travel. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production, Film, Photography, TV preferred. 
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar position. 
  • Experience with a professional sports team is a plus. 
  • Exceptional cinematography and video production skills. 
  • High competency in video editing, including the use of all advance knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and 3D programs. 
  • Knowledgeable in all areas of video production, including lighting, sound, motion graphics, color correction, and publishing. 
  • Bilingual is a plus. 
  • Live production experience a plus. 
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at a time with tight deadlines. 
  • Able to work non-traditional hours including weekends, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere. 
  • Physical ability to lift heavy video equipment is required. 
  • Able to travel a minimum of 25% of the time during the season.
  • Knowledge of soccer and entertainment is required. 
  • Experience with content management systems.
