Job Description

The Bundesliga is one of the world’s most successful sports leagues being a social institution in Germany since 1963 with brand awareness levels of 99% and millions of enthusiastic fans all around the world.

The main task of DFL Digital Sports GmbH is the production of media content in order to promote the Bundesliga brand internationally. Based in Cologne, the DFL Digital Sports GmbH produces and publishes media content via a variety of digital platforms. This includes production of content for international markets and the implementation of the league’s own platforms.

Manager IT Services (m/f/d)


Here’s what’s waiting for you on the pitch:

  • Analysis and elimination of any IT issues (hardware, software, mobile devices, TC)
  • System administration, installation, configuration and support of Windows PC, Mac, telecommunication, mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Continuous improvement & maintenance of ticket system
  • Ongoing documentation of all systems, workflows and processes
  • Installation of small network components
  • Administration and modification of DNS entries in consultation with our development team
  • Administration of smaller SaaS and cloud services (e.g. Atlassian, Azure AD)
  • Ensuring the functionality by timely initiation of relevant measures (Matchday Support)
  • Buying and setting up new hardware
  • Support within annual inventory

Here’s what should be in your sports bag:

  • Technical education, ideally as a certified IT specialist, service desk engineer, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years work experience in a comparable position
  • Adaptable for a fast pacing environment
  • Well-founded knowledge of different operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux) and routine in dealing with Office365
  • Good knowledge of different devices (mobile devices, etc.)
  • A high level of responsibility and teamwork
  • Passion for bits and bytes
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Good English skills
