Job Summary

 

Tottenham Hotspur is a world famous football club based in North London. Off the pitch, the Club has a strong and successful business model centered around building a platform for long-term success, which includes a new world-class stadium. 

The Club operates out of multiple sites, including a world class Training Centre in Enfield where all the First Team and the Academy’s training and coaching activities occur, three retail outlets and a warehouse.

The Club is seeking an Integrated Systems Tester to ensure these systems are fully functional, verified and validated in order to meet the requirements of all Life Safety Systems inline with BCO approval and issue of the Stadium Safety Certificate. To ensure that the stadium always remains statutory compliant.

As a key member of the maintenance team you will be responsible for making sure that all control systems and equipment are maintained and function as per specification. The role is wide ranging and diverse and involves the management of sub-contractors for specialist equipment, promote health & safety, mentoring and supporting the team, document control as well as the hands on practical knowledge for day to day repairs.

The Operation Team forms a key part of the smooth running of operations at the Stadium and the position will involve working a Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover weekends. The role will also require event support, so a flexible candidate is sought.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare, conduct and report IST activities
  • Produce/review technical documentation to Stadium schedule
  • Maintain an up to date PPM schedule and asset register
  • Create and or execute test plans
  • Meets operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews. Implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards, resolving problems
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal codes of practice and regulations
  • Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventative maintenance program
  • Monitor equipment inventory and agreed minimum stock levels
  • Accomplishes maintenance and organization KPI’s by completing related results in-line with the CAFM system
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers and ensure quality of their work
  • Point of call for escalation of IST faults
  • Assess current maintenance work processes, to optimize efficiency and identify potential energy saving initiatives
  • Identify and resolve issues and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs
  • Ensure that all statutory maintenance logs and reports are kept up to date
  • Available as part of the operations team for specialist projects
  • Plan and oversee all reactive and PPM activities

Skills & Experience

 

  • HNC based on Integrated Systems, Control Systems Engineering
  • Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Maintenance, Installation and Controls
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in commercial buildings
  • Fault diagnostic skills including fault identification and reporting
  • Technical report writing skills to produce documentation to a high standard
  • Health and Safety training such as IOSH
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, mechanical systems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
  • Thorough knowledge of safe working practises
  • IT and administration skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
