The Opportunity

Joining the design team of an award-winning Marketing department at University Campus of Football Business (UCFB), the Senior Graphic Designer will be part of an exciting array of projects that vary in scope and scale.

Producing and implementing print, web and digital design work, the designer will also be supporting video and content production via the creation of various design assets.

Below is a quick summary of the main type of work required:

  • Print – photo manipulation, illustration and publication layout
  • Web Design - web site design and UX understanding – from flat design to style code tags
  • Video editing - asset production and timeline editing – footage formats manipulation and rendering for publishing
  • Graphic animation – asset production, key frame animation for HTML banners

Joining the design team of an award-winning Marketing department at University Campus of Football Business (UCFB), you will be part of an exciting array of projects that vary in scope and scale.

Creativity and attention to detail is what we need so we are seeking a person that masters the fundamentals of design principles, but always approaches design with an open mind and ready to endorse new contemporary looks in line with a competent and constantly progressing audience.

As a SGD, you have to be creative and full of new ideas that redefine the way content is presented to the viewer. Driven and passionate, you will bring innovative notions to the team and be on the cutting edge of the latest advances in technology and design trends. Great organisational skills, time management and efficient communication manners are in your DNA and they will be the key for your success.

Delivering design for print collateral and across multiple digital platforms and channels, including desktop, mobile/tablet and email, you should be able to interpret guidelines and requests making sure that the creative brief is accurate and appropriate, project deadlines are met and the best design solution is offered and delivered.

The right candidate has an impressive portfolio of print and digital design, ideally gained in an agency environment, with excellent creative skills transferring from pencil and paper scamps to fully executed products. You will ideally support this with photography skills capability and have a strong interest in emerging design trends and technologies.

Understanding of printing processes and the related use of colour libraries when designing is also required in order to deal with print suppliers to make sure work is delivered as expected.
