Footballco has exciting Internship opportunities for Video Creators to join our central team for 6 months. You’ll conceive and create videos for an English-language audience, and also make universal content that can be shared across our huge global network.

Your work will live on a wide range of platforms including our Goal site and app, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok and Twitch.




Our aim is to make Goal the internet’s most-loved football brand. To do that we need you to delight our audience and create famous formats; we have a global network of writers, correspondents and social producers to fuel you in this mission.


You will be part of our UK-based video team, and report to the Head of Multimedia.





  • Learn how to Ideate, script, produce, edit, and deliver multiple videos on a weekly basis for social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tiktok and Twitch
  • Appear on-screen as presenting talent
  • Learn how to Edit skilfully using social video principles
  • Work with our teams to create great video titles and thumbnails to sell our work
  • Make our work adaptable for other markets with universal themes and text-light visual presentation
  • Work effectively with social teams around the world to ensure the best content is shared to our network
  • Collaborate with our editorial and social teams in the UK and around the world to share ideas and find video executions for great ideas
  • Monitor social trends and opportunities within football media and beyond, and adapt your work accordingly




  • Love and understanding of football and its culture
  • Ability to give and receive feedback, and work collaboratively on projects
  • Strong storytelling credentials; do you believe you can craft narratives that grab and hold people’s attention?
  • An understanding of what people want to watch and share online
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital and social media landscapes preferred but not entirely essential
  • Specialist knowledge of emerging video platforms is a plus
  • Curious and proactive mentality - you have the creativity to come up with ideas, and the drive to translate them into a finished article!
