Sunderland AFC are currently looking to recruit highly motivated and enthusiastic matchday Safety Stewards for the prestigious Stadium of Light.
The role is for matchdays (which can be either a weekend or an evening) so could be balanced with your main job or other commitments and will be primarily focused on safety and customer care. No formal experience is necessary as full training is provided.
Successful applicants must be able to attend the initial training program and complete the relevant Level 2 Diploma in Spectator Safety Management (as a minimum). Applicants are advised that the role requires a degree of physical fitness to include climbing access stairs and walking along seating decks. Additionally, the Safety Steward is required to either sit on a low-level stool or stand for a minimum period of 5 hours per match, depending upon their allocated location within the Stadium.
The successful applicants will have a mature attitude, excellent communication skills and be IT literate.

Please note that this position may be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring (DBS) Check and you must be able to verify that you are eligible for work in the UK.
