Position Summary:


The Account Executive will be responsible for maximizing ticket revenue for the LA Galaxy through the sales of Full Season Tickets, Partial Season Tickets, Groups Sales, Amateur Sales, Event Suites and select Single Game and event promotion sales for Dignity Health Sports Park.  Prospects are targeted through new business initiatives and mining the current database via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Revenue goals will be set for Account Executives and tracked during regular meetings with their sales manager. The ideal candidate will have strong desire to help set the standard for client experience and retention in the sports industry.


Essential Duties:


  • Sell LA Galaxy non-premium tickets with a dedicated product menu focus as assigned; the non-premium menu includes season tickets, full season equivalents, groups, and amateur partnerships  
  • Maintain a minimum daily average of 60 outbound calls – volume may be increased or decreased based upon the time of year and needs of the organization. Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals and activity requirements
  • Maximize clients’ revenue potential by identifying premium opportunities as well as cross-selling opportunities to other DHSP ancillary events
  • Provide quality service to existing and prospective customers to support annual membership retention
  • Perform "game day" responsibilities, including networking with clients and prospects, as well as working ticket sales booths and tables
  • Attend team, community, and other events for purpose of maximizing sales opportunities
Required Qualifications:


  1. A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)  
  2. A minimum of 2-4 years of related work experience
  3. Excellent oral and written skills 
  4. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Internet use, and other basic computer usage
  5. Familiarity with basic tenets of sales and customer service, sports industry specific a plus
  6. Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance while at work. Business attire in office and during events. Employees may be required to wear Galaxy attire (to be provided) when representing the Galaxy in public.
  7. Drive and initiative to succeed and develop a career in the sports and entertainment industry
  8. Ability to support a team environment and adhere to departmental guidelines
  9. Ability to prioritize based on sales need
  10. Ability to work evenings/ nights/ weekends, holidays, and select ticket sales and networking events 
Preferred Qualifications:
  1.  Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
  2.  Experience and training in Customer Relations Management system preferred
