Cambridge United is seeking 2–3 Game Day Operations Support Volunteers to assist
with the delivery of home matches for our Ontario Premier League programs. This
role is ideal for high school students looking to complete community service hours
while gaining experience in a sport and event-based environment.
Volunteers will work under the direction of the Game Day Manager and support
basic game day setup, operations, and post-game breakdown.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Pre-Game Support
Assist with field setup, including:
o Goals and corner flags
o League signage and banners
o Administrative tents/gazebos
Help post directional and event signage
Assist with general venue preparation
Game Day Support
Assist with welcoming visiting teams and spectators
Support ticketing and entry areas as directed
Provide general customer service support
Assist with scoreboard operation (if trained)
Assist Game Day Manager with basic operational tasks as needed
Post-Game Support
Assist with field and venue clean-up
Help store equipment and signage
Ensure venue is returned to a tidy condition
