Royal Wharf F.C. is an England Football Accredited grassroots Club, affiliated with The London Football Association. Based in the London Borough of Newham (E6/E16), we compete in the Echo Junior Football League and continue to grow as a forward-thinking, community-rooted Club with high standards.

We are currently seeking experienced and committed Football Coaches to support and lead session delivery within our Saturday Development Centre.

THE ROLE:

This is a senior coaching position suited to an experienced Coach who is confident leading sessions, setting standards on the pitch, and delivering consistent quality across multiple age groups.

The successful candidate will lead back-to-back Saturday morning sessions for U4's to U10's, with a clear focus on high-quality session delivery, engagement, and age-appropriate progression. We are looking for a Coach with extensive experience working with this age group, who can step straight into the role and deliver engaging, well-structured sessions with confidence and authority.

While this role does not carry overall programme ownership, the Lead Coach will play an important role in setting the tone and standards during sessions, supporting other Coaches where required, and contributing positively to the Development Centre environment.

Training takes place at a fantastic full-size 11v11 3G Astro pitch at Royal Docks Academy, E16 3HS, providing an excellent environment for structured and progressive player development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum The FA Level 2 in Coaching Football
  • At least two years of experience leading sessions with children in this age range
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality sessions consistently
  • Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and youth development
  • Enhanced DBS check (required)
