Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coach to join our team. This role will involve starting a new girls and womens sections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in football coaching , with the ability to inspire and develop players of all skill levels. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to fostering a positive environment, and the ability to create tailored training programmes that enhance performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training sessions that cater to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
  • Provide guidance and support to athletes, helping them improve their skills and achieve their personal goals.
  • Monitor athlete progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
  • Foster a positive team culture that promotes teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship.
  • Organise and lead practices, drills, and competitive events.
  • Maintain open communication with athletes, parents, and other staff members regarding performance and development.
  • Ensure all training activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the football being coached, including rules, strategies, and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
  • Ability to adapt coaching methods based on individual athlete needs and learning styles.
  • Coaching badges through the SFA or other recognised govering bodies.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
