We are seeking a committed Academy Scout (Cat 1–3) – U9–U12 to support the long-term vision of Ipswich Town Football Club by helping to identify and recruit the most talented young players across the East of England. This role includes regular weekend commitments (typically covering two fixtures per weekend), the potential for occasional evening fixtures, and an average weekly commitment of 4–6 hours.
The Academy Scout will contribute to the delivery of effective identification and scouting strategies across the Player Performance Pathway, in line with the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP). Working under the Head of Academy Recruitment, the role will focus on sourcing, evaluating, and recommending young players who align with the Club’s Player Profiles, ensuring a structured and high-quality approach to early-age talent identification.
