Job Description
We run football classes for children aged 18 months to 9 years old
Job title: Assistant Football Coach
Working hours: Saturdays and / or Sundays 9.15am-2.15pm (during term-time). Potential for additional hours in the week / holiday camps
Working location: Clissold Park, Stoke Newington (indoors from November to March)
Session type: Football classes for children aged 18 months to 9 years old
Pay: Assistant Football Coach £8-£12.50 per hour
Start date: Straight away
Are you the right person for Little Strikers? We are looking for people who love working with children and have a real passion for helping them develop in a fun environment. Coaching experience is preferred, but it is not essential. In terms of this niche area of coaching very young children, we find the best coaches are the ones who enjoy working with this age group!
Essential Requirements:
- Good verbal communication skills
- Friendly and confident personality
- Can commit to the same sessions every week (during term-time)
- Happy to work with children as young as 18 months old
- Plenty of patience!
Responsibilities:
- Setting-up and setting-down football equipment for the classes
- Setting-up games during the classes
- Assisting the lead coach with the delivery of the classes
- Supporting the children during the classes

We are a registered AQA Training centre & have developed a programme specifically built for nurseries and schools to be rolled out across the country. Following a successful launch, Little Strikers proudly run sessions up and down the UK, overseas and continue to grow as more and more nursery owners and school teachers see the benefit our classes are having on the children nationwide such as:

Understanding the world. We also cover a whole host of other aspects including colour recognition, body parts and problem solving.
Specially designed equipment for children and with parental participation we will develop a number of key skills to help your child to enjoy the benefits of sport & prepare them to take instructions to help become "school ready".
Our programme was written by a UEFA licenced coach who is also an FA coach educator and works in a premier league club academy with over 15 years experience in coaching beginners right up-to elite youth and adult players.
