Football Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to assist and enhance our current coaching our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the game, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate players of varying skill levels. This role is crucial in fostering a positive team environment while enhancing players' technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall performance on the pitch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training sessions that improve players' skills, teamwork and overall enjoyment.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and progression.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other coaching staff to ensure alignment on goals and club expectations.
• Organise and oversee team practices, training matches, and potential tournaments.
• Monitor player attendance and engagement in training sessions and matches to report back to the Head Coach & Chairman if necessary.

Skills

• Proven experience in sports coaching, preferably in football with ages 5 - 8yrs.
• Strong coaching abilities with the capacity to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
• Confidence in yourself to set high standards whilst using strong communication to remain in control and manage behaviour according. (Vocal when required)
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and staff.
• Ability to motivate individuals and foster teamwork within the group.
• Strong organisational skills to manage training sessions and training match preparations.
• A thorough understanding of football rules and techniques is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.50-£17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
