Job Overview
We are seeking a committed and proactive Training Ground Steward Supervisor to take responsibility for all training ground events held at the Playford Road and Bent Lane Training Ground sites.

The Training Ground Steward Supervisor will oversee and lead the stewarding team on duty each evening, ensuring all training ground activities are delivered safely and in full compliance with the Club’s safeguarding and health & safety standards. This role will also include leading and managing the stewards’ rota to ensure appropriate staffing levels across all sessions.

The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days, with flexibility required to support events as needed.

Duties

  • Ensuring the Steward Rota is completed and full compliment for each event.
  • Ensuring the Stewarding team each evening maintains Professional high standards in their work and behaviours.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding related incidents are recorded and reported appropriately and in accordance with safeguarding protocols.
  • Ensuring all health and safety related incidents are recorded and reported appropriately.
  • Ensure the training ground, including pitch areas and changing rooms are maintained and left in a fit and tidy state at the end of each event.

Experience

  • Experience of Operational Organisation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise, workloads effectively.
  • Must have had supervisor experience before of a small team.
  • Can maintain high standards within the team and hold people to account.
  • Level 2 Stewards Course.
  • Level 3 Supervisors Course.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with the professional football Club Academy environment.
  • Security SIA badges.
