The Role

We are recruiting a Shooting Producer – Men’s First Team to be a key creative force within the Creative Video Department at SpursTV. This role will lead the production and delivery of high-quality, engaging video content that captures the spirit, performance, and stories of our Men’s team — both on and off the pitch.

This role operates across multiple locations including training facilities, home and away fixtures nationally and internationally. It demands a hands-on, dynamic shooting producer who can manage simple and complex narrative first filming opportunities, that span short, mid and long form content.

The successful individual will be able to craft films with narrative excellance, pushing the clubs video output from pre to post production. They will also need to be comfortable working within a Men’s First Team environment, ensuring content is innovative and comprelling whilst aligning with key messages from coaches and football stakeholders.

The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, with additional hours compensated through time off in lieu (TOIL).

Job Purpose

• Develop, produce, and execute a broad range of video content ideas — including match day features, player profiles, behind-the-scenes documentaries, and social-first videos — that showcase Tottenham Hotspur’s Men’s team.
• Manage all aspects of video production from concept through to delivery, including shoot planning, directing, camera operation, lighting, audio capture, editing, and asset management.
• Drive creative innovation to keep content fresh, engaging, and aligned with Spurs’ brand and evolving digital landscape.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and communications teams to ensure video content supports broader club campaigns and fan engagement objectives.
• Act as a pivotal link between the production team and the Men’s team coaches, players, and staff, building strong working relationships to access exclusive stories and moments.
• Take ownership of scheduling and resource allocation for shoots, ensuring smooth, efficient production workflows.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior producers and freelance crew on shoots, fostering professional development and high production standards.
• Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and platforms in video production to continuously enhance SpursTV’s content offering and alignment with current social themes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a close working relationship with the Men’s First Team staff and players to facilitate access and authentic storytelling daily.
• Conceptualise, lead, and execute creative video projects across short and long form formats tailored for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more.
• Operate professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots, ensuring top-tier production quality.
• Edit and deliver polished video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, with additional expertise in After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve considered a plus.
• Oversee consistent application of Tottenham Hotspur’s branding and style guidelines across all video content.
• Manage digital asset libraries to maintain organisation, easy access, and secure storage of all production materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop storyboards, concepts, and campaigns that bring the Men’s team narrative to life under the stewardship of the Creative Video Lead.
• Be able to work autonomously on certain shoot days while balancing multiple projects, timelines, and deadlines.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving during production, maintaining composure in fast-paced environments.
• Contribute ideas to evolve content strategies based on audience data and feedback.
• Occasionally lead small production teams, including freelance operators and assistants, ensuring clear communication and coordination.

What You Will Bring

• Demonstrated experience producing, shooting, and editing professional-level video content within a sports or comparable dynamic media environment.
• Proven ability to manage video production workflows from concept through to delivery with strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve highly desirable.
• Strong visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for composition, colour grading, audio mixing, and overall production excellence.
• Experience creating content tailored for multiple digital platforms including long-form YouTube videos and short-form social content.
• Ability to work independently, organise multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines without compromising standards.
• A proactive, creative mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative approach suited to a fast-moving team environment.
• Experience leading small teams or freelance crews on shoots is preferred.
• Photography skills and experience with live event production are advantageous.
