Summary:
The Accounting Clerk will play a critical role in the daily operation and success of the Club's accounting functions. The incumbent will be motivated, organized, and driven. The position requires a solid working knowledge of accounting principles and experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
· Enters the monthly sales entry of all revenue centers
· Assist with accounts receivable and prepares reports for review
· Enter AP and collaborate with departments to ensure timely approvals of expenses
· Works with senior staff to prepare settlements for event
· Assist with gameday/event reconciliations
· Enter company credit card transactions
· Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
· 0-1 years of relevant work experience performing accounting functions
· Strong technical accounting skills with solid knowledge of GAAP and its application to the company’s financial statements
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work well with others
· Ability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the teams’ schedules
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 5 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 10 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
