 About the role:

A Casual Matchday Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting food items to a high standard during shifts, scheduled on an as-needed basis. This role typically supports the kitchen team during busy periods, events, staff absences or seasonal demand.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, cooking and service of food throughout the stadium/corporate hospitality
  • Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy
  • Health and safety regulations, ensuring they are always followed
  • Due diligence records are completed, following food safety regulations
  • Delivering a first-class customer experience to our customers and staff
  • Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for game prep days, match days and functions
  • To ensure that all food is prepared with care and attention, particularly in relation to customers' special dietary requirements and allergens

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience in a catering-related environment
  • Demonstrative ability to work in a teamwork
  • Show the ability to follow instructions and supervise a small team
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety
  • Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
  • Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
