Stoke City Foundation is the official charitable arm of Stoke City Football Club, dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to deliver a wide variety of sessions across our key areas in education, community engagement, football development fundraising and events.
Delivery will include but is not limited to supporting school-based sport and physical activity sessions, increasing football participation and delivering inclusive community sport and activity programmes. Sessions may take place at various times throughout the week and will be designed to engage and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.
As part of our vision to support active communities and healthier lives united by football, you will play a vital role in creating high quality experiences that empower individuals and strengthen communities.
Ideal candidates will hold, or be working towards, a recognised coaching qualification in sport or physical activity. This may include, but is not limited to, a UEFA C Licence in Football Coaching or a Level 1 qualification from a national governing body in one or more of the following areas:

We are also welcoming applications from candidates that hold a current national goalkeeping in football qualification or above.

Stoke City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Founded as Stoke Ramblers in 1863 the Club changed its name to Stoke City in 1925 after Stoke-on-Trent was granted city status. We are proudly the oldest professional football club in the world, and are one of the founding members of the Football League.
The Club's first, and to date only, major trophy was won in the 1972 Football League Cup Final, when the team beat Chelsea 2–1. The club have won the Football League Trophy on two occasions, first in 1992 and most recently in 2000. The Club's highest league finish in the top division is 4th, which was achieved in both 1935/36 and 1946/47. The Potters have competed in European football in 1972/73, 1974/75; and most recently in 2011–12 after reaching the FA Cup Final in 2011, finishing runners-up to Manchester City.
Stoke City's home ground is the bet365 Stadium, a 30,000+ all-seater stadium. Before the stadium was opened in 1997, the club was based at the Victoria Ground, which had been their home ground since 1878. The club's nickname is 'the Potters', named after the pottery industry in Stoke-on-Trent. The Club's traditional colours are red and white vertically striped shirts, white shorts and stockings
