Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Coach to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about sports and have a desire to inspire and develop young athletes. As a Volunteer Coach, you will play a crucial role in fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while providing guidance and support to participants.
Duties
- Plan and conduct training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and fitness.
- Provide constructive feedback to athletes to help them improve their performance.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all team members.
- Organise and lead practice sessions, ensuring that all athletes are engaged and learning.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to develop training programmes that align with the team's goals.
- Monitor the progress of athletes and adjust training methods as necessary.
- Promote good sportsmanship and respect among team members during practices and competitions.
Skills
- Strong background in sports coaching, with experience in developing training programmes tailored to different skill levels.
- Teaching skills that enable effective communication of techniques and strategies to athletes.
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes, fostering a love for the sport.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with other coaches, parents, and participants.
- Strong organisational skills to manage practice schedules and team activities efficiently.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Zero hours contract, Volunteer
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
