Job Summary
The Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our team during designated shifts. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate staff, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. The Shift Leader will oversee all tasks needed to be completed, I.e training sessions , match days , parent subs and pitch management.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to new staff, fostering their development in line with company standards.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payments from team members.
• Lead by example, demonstrating excellent work ethic and commitment to quality service.

Skills

• Proven experience in a leadership role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with team members and customers alike.
• Experience in sports coaching or teaching is advantageous, as it demonstrates an ability to motivate and develop individuals.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under pressure.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering results.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs. This position is ideal for individuals looking to enhance their leadership capabilities while contributing positively to our team culture.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £150.00-£300.00 per month

Expected hours: 2 – 4 per week
